Sermon: Luke 19:11-26

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

The latest sermon from July 2, 2006 is available for download, taken from Luke 19. It is a challenging exhortation to consider what we should be about while the Master is away. Will we faithfully handle the gift of the gospel and hear the words “Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.” or will we cower in fear and hear the words “Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.”? May we live with boldness in this life, and lay down every comfort for the sake of His great name.

Ministry Opportunity- Book Table

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

As elders we are constantly seeking to think through how we can better shepherd the flock and provide guidance and teaching to the church.

One way that we can do this is by providing resources that will help build the body up in the faith.  There are some great resources out there in audio and book form that we would love to get into the hands of those that are eager to learn.

In order to get something like this going we need to find someone who has a passion and love for getting good resources to fellow believers and the ability and time to make a project like this work.

Please let us know if you would be interested in facilitating and running a book table or if you would be willing to assist in this project.
