- Josh Winans (jwinans

Josh
Winans serves as a full time elder at Sovereign Grace Fellowship pouring
himself into the areas of teaching/preaching and discipleship/counseling.
He received a B.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s
College in 1995 and an M.Div from The Master’s Seminary in 1999.
Josh enjoys theology, sports, and spending time with people. Having
grown up as the 10th of 11 children, Josh’s stories of childhood
and family life seem to be never-ending. Josh, along with his wife
Colleen are in the midst of raising three boys- Tayven, Daxon, and
Harper.
- Tim Pickard (tpickard

Tim
Pickard serves as a full time elder at Sovereign Grace Fellowship
providing oversight to assorted ministries and fulfilling various
administrative needs within the church. His passion is to shepherd
people, teach and preach God’s word, and to serve the church
wherever he is needed. Tim grew up in Grass Valley, CA and he and
his wife Nicole consider it a blessing to live in the area where both
of their families still reside. Tim received a B.A. from The Master’s
College in 2000 and an M. Div. from The Master’s Seminary in
2004. Tim and Nicole have three children, Caitlin, Grace, and Carson.

Doug
Healing serves as an elder at Sovereign Grace Fellowship and Betsy,
his wife, serves the church as secretary. They have two adult children,
Carly and Josh who also attend ASGF. Having spent more than twenty
years as a business man, Doug recently returned to college to earn
a second teaching credential. When not in class he works with autistic
children through the Placer County Office of Education. His goal for
our church is that we glorify God by mutually growing in Christ, evangelizing
the lost, and caring for one another. Doug also has a special desire
to educate our members in the areas of theology and church history.

Rick
Schauer serves as an elder at Sovereign Grace Fellowship shepherding
a Grace Group and is the elder assigned to the Facilities Team. Rick
served the Los Angeles Police Department as a robbery detective supervisor
and retired after twenty-six years. Rick then worked as a corporate
security director for fifteen years and has recently retired from
that position. Rick was saved 24 years ago and has been continually
blessed by the knowledge of God’s work and presence in his life
ever since. Rick and his wife Barbara of thirty-eight years reside
in Colfax, CA where they are actively involved in facilitating Bible
studies, parenting training and life affirming ministries (New Life
Pregnancy Center). They have been abundantly blessed with six children
(all married) and fifteen grandchildren.

Serving
as an elder since the inception of the church, John West is committed
to Sovereign Grace Fellowship and all that it stands for. John has
a passion for missions and for reaching out to the community in practical
ways. As with the other elders John leads and shepherds a Grace Group
made up of several families from within the body. With the remainder
of his time John works in the area of construction management. John
and his wife Jan have raised four children- Eric, Lisa, Emily, and
Erin all of whom are a part of Sovereign Grace.
